Went Kappa Wednesday 🩵🗝️ Hear from Aly ✞ on why she chose Kappa!!
“Hi!! My name is Alyssa Garrett and I am a fall ‘25! I went into rush not knowing what to expect. I’m originally from a super small town so going into rush, I didn’t know a lot of people. I was nervous and shy with no idea what house I would fit into, but as soon as I walked into Kappa I knew that was home. It was genuinely one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I have met so many people and girls that will forever be my best friends. If you didn’t know, Kappas philanthropy is NAMI. Mental health is a big part of today’s society and I love seeing the girls in Kappa not only strive to lift up people who are in need, but also each other. Not a day goes by that I think joining Kappa was a mistake. I would recommend going Greek to anyone and everyone. I am so grateful for the memories, opportunities, connections, and support I have gained while being in Kappa Kappa Gamma🩵”

Went Kappa Wednesday🗝️🩵Hear from on why she chose Kappa!
“When I decided to go through COB in February, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, but looking back, it led me exactly where I was meant to be. From the beginning, the girls in Kappa made me feel welcomed, included, and valued for who I am.
What I love most about Kappa is the friendships and support that come with it. Through joining Kappa, I’ve met so many amazing girls who have made my college experience even more meaningful. Whether it’s spending time together, making memories, or simply knowing I have people I can count on, Kappa has given me a sense of community that I’m truly grateful for.
Joining Kappa has brought me friendships, confidence, and experiences I’ll always cherish. I’m so thankful I took a chance on COB because it led me to a sisterhood that genuinely feels like home.“

What Kappa Means to Me:
“Kappa has meant so much more to me than just joining a sorority. It has introduced me to some of the most supportive, genuine, and loving girls who have become such an important part of my life. One of my favorite parts of Kappa has been the little everyday moments with my friends, sharing clothes, makeup, memories, and experiences, while always being there for each other through everything. No matter what was going on, I always had people by my side who supported me, made me laugh, and made sure I never felt alone. I will forever be grateful that I was able to join this house and be given the most amazing friendships and experiences I could have ever asked for!”

Plan after college: After graduation I plan to become a Territory Sales Representative which will lead me to pursue my dream career of becoming a Medical Device Sales Representative.
What kappa means to me: “Kappa has meant the absolute world to me. I knew right when I walked through those big blue doors that I had found my forever home. Kappa has helped shaped me into the person who I am today with the best life long memories that I will cherish forever! Living in Kappa is something I will truly never forget waking up to my best friends knowing that this is my home away from home. With my roles as Panhellenic Delegate, New Member Director and Facility Director they have helped me grow as a person and gain so many skills that will help me prepare for my future. From joining the best Unicorn Family, late night Sonic ruins, tanning sessions on the balcony and dance parties I will forever remember these memories with my wonderful sisters. I am so blessed that I was able to find my best friends, future bridesmaids and my safe space. Its not just four years it’s for life, thank you so much Kappa🤍”
