Tiger Families,

Please come out and support our Edison Tigers Football Team as they take on Hoover High School in our first home game of the season! (JV 5:00 PM & Varsity 7:30 PM) at Sunnyside High School! We are excited to welcome our students, families, alumni, and community members as we celebrate Edison pride and tradition. This will be a special evening as we welcome many special guests, including past Edison alumni and past Homecoming winners, including our very own, Vice Principal Lewis!

Please remember that all guests must follow the Clear Bag Policy in order to enter the game. We encourage everyone to review the attached Clear Bag Policy flyer for important information regarding what can and cannot be brought into the stadium.
We would also like to remind students about our No-Admit List. Students who have been suspended, have a low GPA, have received detention, have 5 or more tardies, or have been sent out of class due to misbehavior may be placed on the No-Admit List. Students who are on the No-Admit List will not be permitted to attend school events until they are removed from the list. The No-Admit List runs week to week, and students who are currently on the list will be eligible to come off the list starting next week, provided they meet the expectations for removal. Students should also check their school email for information regarding their status.

All Edison students who are not on the No-Admit List will receive a wristband at school tomorrow during lunch. Students who are unable to get a wristband during lunch may also obtain one before the game. All students receive FREE admission and do not need to purchase a ticket. All other guests must purchase their tickets online through GoFan by using the attached link below or by scanning the QR code at the game. There will be no cash ticket sales available at the game.

Welcome to the Tiger Family, Coach Lauren Costa!

Please join us in welcoming Lauren Costa as our new Director of Coaching for Softball at Edison High School!

Coach Costa brings six years of coaching experience at both the high school and junior college levels, including the past four years as the pitching coach at Reedley College. Throughout her coaching career, she has built a reputation for developing strong relationships, earning the trust of her athletes, and creating a positive team culture—qualities that are the foundation of successful programs.

Coach Costa shared:
“I am honored and excited to join the Edison family and become a part of the Tiger family. I look forward to building a program centered on hard work, accountability, and pride while helping our student-athletes grow both on and off the field. I can’t wait to get to work with our players, families, and community.”

We are thrilled to welcome Coach Costa to Edison Athletics and look forward to the future of Tiger Softball under her leadership.
