We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating the beautiful life of Professor Adela Santana 💗 Thank you to everyone who was able to attend, watch the beautiful movie, and think of Adela today. A huge thank you to Adela's family for allowing us all the pleasure to celebrate her, and to the Anthropology department for coordinating and hosting 💗

Screening of 100 Ways to Cross the Border (featuring q***r Latinx performance artist Guillermo Gómez-Peña). We will make pink altar art, eat pink treats, and attendees are invited (but not required!) to wear pink, as this was Adela's favorite color.
