Class of 2026 Spotlight: Abraham Jimenez

Abraham plans to pursue a career in plumbing or become a football coach. Through CTEC, he discovered that he wanted a career that keeps him active and working with his hands rather than sitting behind a screen all day.

CTEC helped Abraham develop the people skills and work ethic needed to succeed, while also preparing him to push through challenges and keep going when work gets tough. He says the experience gave him both the practical skills and the mindset needed to be successful.

Abraham would like to thank his friends and the teachers at CTEC for guiding him and providing opportunities to succeed. His advice to future students: don’t overwhelm yourself, put yourself in a position to succeed, and learn when to separate work and fun so you can enjoy both.

Big congratulations to Class of 2022 CTEC alum Sin Hau on graduating from University of California, Davis TODAY with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Education! 🎓

Sin spent six months teaching 5th grade math and science as an intern at Patwin Elementary School, and now looks ahead to graduate school.

Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment and best wishes for all that lies ahead! Once a Titan, always a Titan!

Construction Industry Award – Jedidiah Ayala
A respected leader, mentor, and trusted teammate, Jedidiah consistently raised the bar in our Construction pathway. His commitment to safety, reliability under pressure, and willingness to support others made him someone classmates could count on and future students could learn from.

Manufacturing Industry Award – Nathan Blodgett
Nathan’s technical expertise, precision machining skills, and dedication to excellence set him apart throughout his time at CTEC. From success in competitions to helping classmates troubleshoot and grow their own skills, he exemplified what it means to lead through both competence and character.

Congratulations to both of these outstanding graduates. We can’t wait to see where your industry skills take you next.

Graduate Spotlight: Sean Kuykendall | Class of 2026🛠️

Sean plans to study diesel mechanics to earn his diesel certification, with the goal of eventually opening his own business providing roadside service to semis.

Sean says learning how to weld and fabricate at CTEC helped him realize this was the type of work he wanted to pursue in the future.

What Sean wants people to remember: “Keep going strong. When times get tough, just remember to fall back on Jesus—He will get you through it. You have a purpose on this earth.”— Jeremiah 29:11
