MUSIC MODES YOU DIDN’T KNOW EXISTED 🎢 ✨ Mysterious Music Modes - Why Are They Important for Singers? ✨ Did you know that beyond the familiar major and minor scales, there are seven ancient modes, each with a completely unique sound? In this video, I sing through all of them so you can hear their distinct colors! πŸ”₯ What Are These Modes? These are ancient church modes that date back to medieval music but are still used today by composers, vocalists, and musicians. Here they are: 🎡 Ionian – Sounds like the standard major scale, bright and happy. 🎡 Dorian – A minor-like mode with a raised 6th, making it smooth and warm. 🎡 Phrygian – Dark and exotic, thanks to its lowered 2nd degree. 🎡 Lydian – A major scale with a raised 4th, giving it an airy, mystical feel. 🎡 Mixolydian – Similar to major but with a lowered 7th, often found in blues and rock. 🎡 Aeolian – The natural minor scale, deep and melancholic. 🎡 Locrian – The most unstable mode, with a lowered 5th, creating tension. 🎀 Why Are These Modes Important for Singers?
