As May 18th approaches, I thought it would be nice to share some thoughts I've had.
10 years ago today, none of us thought we'd be saying goodbye to two very important people. Grandma and grandpa were invincible, nothing could take them down. Except the actions of another driver.
10 years ago, a little girl was in her last week if Kindergarten. She would be having her graduation in 5 days and her grandparents were going to see her. Except they never made it.
10 years ago, a 17 year old girl was preparing for finals and making plans for the summer with her friends. Those plans never happened.
10 years ago, a young couple was enjoying their new one month old baby and planning for the great grandparents to visit often. They never got to visit their growing family.
10 years ago, many people were going about their lives as usual. Many had work or school, others took care of personal matters.
10 years ago, none of us were prepared for what was about to happen. Our whole lives would change, family bonds would break. And we'd be saying goodbye to people so greatly loved and appreciated.
10 years ago, life was good. Life was right. We were right where we needed to be. Until it wasn't anymore.
Esther K. Hager and Edward E. Hager
Ed and Esther were loving parents, grandparents, and friends to many. They were married for over 30 years and passed away within a month of each other.

I've got my blue on today! It doesn't hit me as hard today as it did before but they are still truly missed. RIP Edward and Esther Hager.
Today is Grandma Esther's 78th birthday. If you are nearby, stop by and visit them this week :)
For those of you in the area, we has recently added the address of the cemetery, you can find it under the About section. The phone number can also be found there. if you need help finding their resting place, please let us know :)
Today is Grandparents' Day. Have you called your grandparents? Have you taken time to remember them? Well today just started so you still have time. Just never take them for granted love them as much as you can.
With everything in my life that's going on, I wish my grandma was here to talk with....
So, the month of May is coming up and I hope everyone knows what that means. It's almost that time of year again to wear blue for my grandparents. I will make an event again when it gets closer to the 18 like I do evey year to remind you. I hope you all show your support :)
Grandma and Grandpa were the best people in the world. I love and miss them. Even though i didnt cry when they left earth i knew that our lord had better plans and i am glad i got to know them. thinking back on the memories that we shared i dont think i could have met anyone better. I often wished that i let myself cry for them but instead i thought i had to be strong for everyone else and i still believe that but i know that they are lookin down on us smiling. they are happy that we have become the people we are and who to be but mostly who we choose to be. thank you grandma and grandpa for everything!!!!!

I think about you when I listen to this. I miss you much but losing you only made me a stronger person. Plus, I know you're always with me where ever I go :)
