Congratulations to Jeremiah Freeman (115), Jaymari Hewitt (140), and Rosalio Flores (159) for taking 3rd place at today’s CS DIII CIF Championships and qualifying to next week’s CS Masters Championships!

A special shoutout to Zavier Cerda (134) for winning his second CS DIII CIF Championship and for being named Outstanding Lowerweight of the tournament!

Before Finals at the DIII Valley Championships, your Pates have 4 wrestlers qualified for the Central Secton Masters Tournament, next week. With Zavier Cerda (134) still to wrestle in the finals, we had three wrestlers place above their seeds with all three taking 3rd place! Excellent job, Pates and coaches!

Varsity Boys competed in Morro Bay this weekend at the CIT Invitational. Everyone won at least two matches and three wrestlers made Day 2. Overall a great trip in preparation for the postseason. Congrats to Zavier Cerda for his 3rd place finish.

Our JV boys team competed at Tulare H.S. yesterday. Everyone wrestled well and we brought back three medals.

Boys and Girls Varsity competed in a tournament at Mission Oak today. Everyone wrestled tough and both teams brought back some well earned hardware. Congrats to our placers!

Girls Varsity and Boys JV competed at Selland Arena this weekend in the Lady Apache and Sanger JV Invitationals. Both teams did a good job battling against some tough competition. Congrats to Julius Rivera for taking 4th place in his bracket!

The Lady Pates took the mat today in Farmersville. They brought back some medals and everyone got a win on the day. Great job!

Zavier Cerda and Jay Hewitt are competing at day two of the Zinkin Classic. Good luck boys and wrestle tough!
