From State Degrees to State Speaking Finals, West FFA has had an amazing week!✨
A massive congratulations to Salmah Encomio for placing SECOND in state at the Creed speaking contest yesterday! We are incredibly proud of the endless hours of practice and effort you put in! 🏅🎉

This week 2 of our members received their State FFA degree! The State FFA degree is the highest degree the California Association can award a member. It takes a great deal of hard work and dedication to earn, and we are so proud of our two recipients! Congratulations Alexis and Pablo, you rock!

Last night our floral teacher Mrs. Smith hosted a parent and community floral night! Participants were able to experience the hands on learn all of our floral students get to in class! Special thanks to the Parent Center at WHS for partnering with us to host a such a fun event.

Took our Parli-Pro team to Regional Competition where they went up against other schools. Parli Pro isn’t something just anyone can pick up, it takes quick thinking, confidence, and knowing how to work the floor. Huge congratulations to our team for stepping up, staying sharp, and handling business 👏🔥

State Leadership Conference 2026 🥳
This year’s theme, DAWN, reminded us that every new day brings new opportunities to grow, lead, and make an impact. From “First Light” to “Beyond the Horizon,” each session challenged us to step forward with purpose and shape the future of agriculture.
These past couple of days were jam packed with sessions and workshops! 💚💛💙💛
