Congratulations to Dr. Manideep Tummalapudi, assistant professor of construction management, for earning the Provost's Promising New Faculty Award! 👏🐾

Dr. Tummalapudi launched Artificial Intelligence in Architecture, Engineering and Construction in fall 2025, one of the first courses of its kind to prepare students for AI-enabled project environments. He also redesigned core courses to incorporate industry case simulations, data-driven project controls and real-world financial benchmarking to help graduates enter the workforce.

Congratulations to Dr. Deify Law, department chair and professor of mechanical engineering, who was elected a fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, which recognizes exceptional engineering achievements and contributions to the engineering profession.👏🐾 Over 70,000 members make up the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, with only 3,400 recognized as fellows.
