We're kicking off our 2026-27 with comedian Pete Holmes of the HBO series Crashing, comedy specials on HBO, Netflix and Comedy Central, and so much more.

Wednesday, September 16 at the Shaghoian Concert Hall. Come for the food trucks from 5- 7 p.m. and then the show starts at 7 p.m.

The show must go on — just with a slight change in cast! Due to unforeseen circumstances, Colin Quinn has had to cancel his September 16th appearance at Shaghoian Hall.

The good news? We're thrilled to welcome stand-up comedian Pete Holmes who will step into the spotlight in Colin’s place.

Pete is the creator and star of HBO’s Crashing, host of the long-running You Made it Weird podcast and a nationally touring stand-up comedian known for blending a sharp wit with genuine warmth. Everything else about the event — the date, the time, the venue, the fun, the food trucks — stays exactly the same.

If you already have tickets for Colin Quinn's show, no need to do anything: they will be honored at the door for the Pete Holmes performance.

Did you know San Joaquin Valley Town Hall has been powered entirely by volunteers for 90 years?

Since 1937, generations of dedicated community members have given their time, talents and energy to bring thought-provoking speakers and important conversations to the San Joaquin Valley.

Many thanks to Town Hall board member Phyllis Brotherton for sharing some of our history and the remarkable legacy of volunteerism behind Town Hall.

We’re proud of the volunteers, past and present, who have kept this treasured Valley tradition going strong for nine decades!

Past San Joaquin Valley Town Hall speaker Keller Rinaudo Cliffton, co-founder of Zipline, shared this groundbreaking technology with our audience—and now we’re seeing another exciting example of how it is being put to work.

Zipline’s autonomous drones are delivering prescriptions directly to patients’ homes, showing how innovation can make healthcare faster and more accessible.

It’s always exciting to see the ideas and innovations shared from the Town Hall stage making headlines and changing the way we live!
