Join us for another great workshop opportunity this week! We will be working with APC to put on a dairy calf workshop, open to everyone.

Some spaces are still open for two upcoming Fresno State dairy workshops this month by the Fresno State Ifa !

At the artificial Insemination workshop (Mon.-Tue., Jan. 14-15, Noon-5pm, $200) participants will examine real reproductive organs, inseminate live cattle, learn proper A.I. techniques, practice proper semen handling, & receive visual aids & training pamphlets. The English/Spanish workshop will be led by Cris Hatch (All West Select Sires) & Gustavo Pena (Zoetis) & participants will we receive certificates.

The calf health workshop (Wed., Jan. 23, 8:30am-2:30pm, $75) is offered in partnership with APC & designed for dairy & calf ranch owners, managers, & key calf workers (& includes dairy facility tours & a post-workshop social). Speakers Dr. Kyle Thompson, Dr. Steve Hayes, Dr. Joy Campbell, Kelsey Vant Voort, Michael Gomes, Wiley Houchins will cover calf health topics for the first 24 hours initial weeks of life & through weaning.
