Our hearts are full after last week’s Siva Afi showcase! Five weeks of hard work all came down to one beautiful night. We shared it with family, friends, live drumming, good food, and so much aloha.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students. You made the night unforgettable!

A massive thank you to our drumming crew! We had over 30 drummers show up to bring the heat and keep the beat alive. The energy was unmatched because of you!

Huge shout out to our Fire Poi and Fire Otea crew. The Otea dancers brought back a classic dance with 'Ori Tahiti and fire torches. We haven't done that one in years, and it was pure magic!

Special aloha to Ali'ikoa Ramos of Ali'i Productions. Thank you for closing the night with an incredible Siva Afi display. You inspired us all!

Until next time, keep the fire burning🔥

April has been filled with nonstop memories, growth, culture, and community as our club stayed busy all throughout the valley with luau performances, weekly classes, workshops, competitions, and special celebrations. We are beyond proud of everything our dancers, musicians, teachers, and families accomplished this month! ❤️

Along with all of our performances, our regular classes continued throughout the week with our students working hard and growing stronger together every single day. We also loved seeing Nano Talanoa host several ukulele sessions, sharing music, culture, and good vibes with everyone involved. 🎶🌴

This month also brought some incredible opportunities for our members. A huge shoutout to ✨Abrianna Gomez✨ for holding a Tahitian drumming clinic at UCLA and for having the amazing honor of drumming alongside the one and only ✨Tiana Liufau✨ of Nonosina! What an unforgettable experience and such an inspiring moment that must have been for you Ab!🥁🔥

We are also so proud of our competition dancers Jacquelyn, Laziya, Sara, Kieryanah, and Elana for representing our studio down south at Heiva I Los Angeles and Te Ori Here in Santa Ana! Congratulations to ✨Elana Reyes, Kieryanah Gonzalez, and Sara Medellin✨ for placing in the Top 6 of their categories at Heiva I Los Angeles! Your dedication, perseverance, and passion for ‘Ori Tahiti truly shined on stage and we could not be prouder. 🌺👏

Aside from performances and competitions, we had the AMAZING honor of welcoming the one and only ✨Aie Manuel✨ to our studio! A 2-time winner of Best Dancer in Tahiti at Heiva I Tahiti, Aie shared her knowledge, passion, and culture with us through a special 3-part workshop covering ‘Ori Tahiti Basics, ‘Ōte’a, and Aparima. We are beyond thankful for the opportunity to learn from such an inspiring artist and ambassador of Tahitian culture. Mauruuru roa, Aie! ❤️

To close out this unforgettable month, our teachers hosted a beautiful baby shower for our beloved Teacher ✨Macy Garcia✨ as we prepare to welcome baby Luca into the world! 🍼💙 Congratulations Macy! Thank you as well to our incredible decorating and planning team for making the day so special:
