Our annual Winter Wonderland Celebration this past Monday was pure magic! โ๏ธโจ
The campus was buzzing with joy as families picked up presents, bundled up with free warm clothes, and filled their bags with fresh food for the week. Kids (and plenty of adults) were happily powered by cookies and hot chocolate, and the whole place felt wrapped in that warm, festive glow.
Big shout-out to First Presbyterian Church of Fresno, the Central California United States Bowling Conference, and the Fresno Youth Bowling Club for their incredibly generous donations. Your support brought so much joy to our families and made the day truly special. โค๏ธ๐
Huge thanks as well to everyone who showed up, volunteered, or helped make Monday unforgettable. Already excited for next yearโs Winter Wonderland! โจโ๏ธ

Our science class had a special guest last weekโan industrial water treater ๐งช who gave students a firsthand look at how chemistry is used in the real world. He explained how water is treated for industrial steam production and cooling systems to prevent scale buildup and metal corrosion, and how water samples are tested to analyze chemical concentrations ๐ฌ. Experiences like this help students see science not just as content, but as a living, working profession.

Our Interact Club brought a little holiday spirit downtown with a wreath fundraiser at the Fresno EOC office๐. Students sold handmade wreaths to support club projects while spreading some much-needed cheer during a busy season. Itโs always good to see students step outside the classroom, engage with the community, and do something positive together!

๐จ Exciting field trip alert! Mr. Bacaโs Street Law class visited the Robert E. Coyle Federal Building in downtown Fresno last week. Itโs such a fantastic opportunity for our students to interact with our justice system in a meaningful wayโright in our own backyard! ๐๏ธ The students had a great time engaging with legal professionals and seeing the law in action firsthand.
