GCA Community Enrollment Day is happening this Saturday, March 28! 🎉
Join us from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at 452 N Pacific Ave to get the latest updates on our new campus, upcoming facility move, and what’s ahead for our scholars!
We’ll have food boxes, FREE snowcones, and a great community atmosphere for you and your family to enjoy!

Golden Charter Academy is opening its doors to the community!
Join us on March 28 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at 452 N Pacific Ave in Fresno for our Community and Media Event. Families will get an inside look at our new campus, learn about enrollment opportunities, and hear important updates about the future of our school.
Enjoy food boxes, free snowcones, and connect with our growing school community. This is a chance to ask questions, explore what’s ahead, and secure priority enrollment for your scholar.

Our Golden Council scholars recently traveled to Sacramento to speak about food justice and the importance of access to healthy food in our communities!
In Southwest Fresno, many families live in areas considered food insecure, where fresh and nutritious food is not always easy to access. Through their research and advocacy, our scholars are learning that understanding where our food comes from helps us see how our choices impact our health, our environment, and our community.
Their work does not stop at learning. It turns into action.
As part of this effort, our school is preparing for an Earth Day Farmers Market where families and community members will be invited to campus to share in the learning, explore fresh foods, and spend time together as a community.
Experiences like this help our scholars grow into active citizens who understand that their voices and their actions can make a real difference.🏆

Did you know your scholar could qualify for up to $1,500 in scholarship money?
Through the CalKIDS Scholarship Program, many California scholars already have money set aside for their future education that can be used for college, career training, or other qualified educational expenses.
We’re hosting a free virtual parent resource meeting where we will walk families through how to check eligibility and claim these funds.

From story time to independent reading, it’s inspiring to see their curiosity grow with every page they turn. Reading truly opens the door to imagination, knowledge, and endless possibilities! ❤️📖

Join us for a FREE Parent Resource Program Zoom Workshop on Saturday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m. where we will walk families through the California Kids Investment & Development Savings (CalKIDS) Scholarship Program.
During this session, we will explain:
• How the program works
• Who qualifies
• How families can access the scholarship funds
• How these funds can help support your child’s future education
This workshop is open to the entire community, not just Golden Charter Academy families, so please feel free to invite friends, neighbors, and other families who may benefit from this opportunity.

Introducing Lions Leading Literacy 🦁📖 — our brand new mentoring initiative where our 6th and 7th grade scholars partner with younger scholars to read together, build confidence, and share the joy of books. By modeling a love for reading, our older Lions are helping inspire the next generation of readers one page at a time.
