Pajama Day 😁....

Today, the children explored their sense of taste, sight, and touch with a Granny Smith apple 🍏. The children observed the apples bright green color, how hard the apple felt, and they got to taste its crunchy texture. They all described it as sour, lol! Some made funny facial expressions while tasting its tart flavor and others asked for more because of its juiciness. This activity encouraged the children to use their senses, expand their vocabulary, and share their thoughts and feelings about different foods with their classmates!

U is for Unicorn 🦄

This week we were learning about our 5 senses: Seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, and smelling. Today, we did a lesson called, “It Smells like.” The children had to use their sense of smell to see if they could smell cinnamon, coconut, honey, pepper, minced onion, and grape.
