We will be offering CHEM 140T (Community Chemistry) this Fall semester. If you know of any Fresno State undergraduates looking for fun experience working with K-8 students, please pass this information along. No prior Chemistry experience is needed.

The San Joaquin Valley Local Section of the American Chemical Society (ACS) is sponsoring an illustrated poem contest for K-12 students.

Deadline: 4/30/2023
Prizes: Winner in each category will receive $30 cash prize.

All poem submissions will first be judged at the local level in order to be considered for the national contest. The local first-place winners will advance to the national contest for a chance to be featured on the ACS website and to win prizes!

Join us on December 6th, 1-2 pm, at Fresno State, for our K-5 Science Hour, led by our future elementary school teachers. It promises to be a fun and engaging event.
