Today, we got to honor Mrs. Karam for her years of service in Clovis Unified during our districtβs retirement celebration. After more than a decade at Riverview and a dedicated career in the district since 1992, her impact on generations of students, families, and colleagues is truly immeasurable. Throughout the years, she has been so much more than a teacher. As a coach and grade level lead, she inspired both students and staff with her leadership, commitment, and passion for excellence. She brings energy and heart into everything she does, always holding high expectations while supporting others with kindness and encouragement. What truly sets her apart is the lasting connections she has built within our community. Mrs. Karam has formed meaningful relationships with generations of families, creating a sense of trust and belonging that will continue long after her time in the classroom. While we will miss her deeply at Riverview, we are so grateful for the legacy she leaves behind. Congratulations on your retirement, Mrs. Karam! Your Riverview Family loves you tremendously!

Congratulations to our two Sparthenian 6th grade students: Olivia Martirosyan and Jenner Vasilovich! Olivia and Jenner exemplify the Sparthenian motto of Mind, Body, and Spirit! They have demonstrated this throughout their entire elementary education, and we know they are going to carry on the values they have learned here at Riverview!

The 2025-2026 Riverview Yearbook is dedicated to two amazing educators who have greatly impacted our school community: Mrs. Karam and Mrs. Dettman! Mrs. Karam is retiring this year after serving our Rams for the last 18 years, and Mrs. Dettman is moving on to be a Learning Director at the Clovis North Educational Center after serving as both a teacher and our GIS over the last 7 years. Both of these phenomenal people are going to be greatly missed here at Riverview, but their positive impact on our community will be remembered and cherished for years to come! Once a Ram, always a Ram! β€οΈππ
