Today’s PANCAKE BREAKFAST AND KIDS IN AVIATION DAY was a fun-filled success!

Youth builders and volunteers from the “Skies of Dreams” EAA Chapter 376 RV-12 Build Program were all smiles as they shared the wonders of aviation with kids and adults alike.

The young builders have made tremendous progress on their RV-12 and recently received a generous donation that will help provide the down payment on the airplane’s engine!

A special thank-you to our chapter president, Danna Eady, for planning, coordinating, and setting up today’s activities. A BIG shout-out also goes to Charles Alexanian, who planned and prepared the delicious pancake breakfast—and, of course, to ALL OF OUR WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS who made the day possible!

Our amazing Young Eagles pilots—Jim Coelho, Danna Eady, Mark McAfee, Jim Shamp, and Ulysses Caiati—gave 31 kids the unforgettable experience of flight this morning!

What a wonderful day of food, fun, learning, and aviation!

Starting today, Thursday August 6, 2026, One Putt Broadcasting is airing a promotional clip about the EAA Chapter 376 Young Eagles program. We hope to recruit more volunteer pilots through this generous contribution of airtime from John Ostlund with One Putt.
Please listen for it on their stations.

As a reminder, EAA Chapter 376 was in the top 20 nationally in 2025 for the most children flown. We need volunteer pilots to keep this opportunity available to Fresno youth.

There is a Young Eagles Rally THIS SATURDAY, 7am at Sierra Sky Park, please consider signing up as a volunteer pilot if you are able. Contact Clari Cone, Young Eagles Coordinator 209.617.1170
