🎻 Meet our featured instrumentalist, Kamilah “K.C.” Simba-Torres! We’re thrilled to have K.C., owner of Simba School of Music, joining us again for our upcoming patriotic concert! 🇺🇸

She'll be bringing the 1800s folk song, Polly Wolly Doodle, to life using her violin in an all-American way! That means means grittier bowing, energetic double stops (playing two notes at once), and those signature sliding notes that give fiddle music its unmistakable charm.

Fun fact: K.C. has been dazzling audiences for years! She even won a fiddle contest at just 8 years old!

Long two days of judging some great groups in Bakersfield and I even found a new piece I like!!
