Tonight, it was a privilege to represent our Sequoia PTO family, staff, and student community as we honored several outstanding former Sequoia Wildcats with Sequoia PTO Scholarships. We are especially proud to recognize scholarship recipients who are graduating from both Sanger High School and Sanger West High School this year.

Seeing our former students continue to excel academically, serve their communities, and prepare for the next chapter of their lives is a testament to their hard work, determination, and character. From their days walking the halls of Sequoia to now preparing for graduation, they have made our Wildcat family proud.

Congratulations to all of this year’s scholarship recipients! Your Sequoia family is cheering you on as you pursue your dreams and make a difference in the world.

It feels like just yesterday many of you were walking the halls of Sequoia Elementary, and now you are graduating and preparing for the next chapter of your lives. Your hard work, growth, perseverance, and memories have brought you to this moment, and we could not be more proud of all you have accomplished.

Wishing each of you continued success, happiness, and endless opportunities as you move forward into college, careers, service, and new adventures. Always remember where you came from and the community that is cheering you on every step of the way.

The Sequoia PTO was honored with a delicious meal by our principal Ms. Sobaje and staff for our last meeting. We know that being a volunteer can be hard yet rewarding , all the hours the board and members put in this year were spent working hard to ensure that the school and students were appreciated and rewarded! Featured in those photos were students who won gcs from caasp testing. PTO donated over $500 towards the students prizes. We look forward to to a new year and more opportunities to be involved and give sequoia a great PTO!

We’re looking for next year’s PTO Board, and we need your help! If you know a wonderful Sequoia parent, teacher, or staff member who would be a great fit, please nominate them. And if you feel you have the passion and skills to help make a difference, we encourage you to nominate yourself as well!
The PTO plays a huge role in creating the magic and memorable experiences at our school, and we’d love to have more amazing people involved.

Staff appreciation week was RAD! We were in a 90s mood all week, from grunge to bling to neon! The staff was treated to a variety of treats and staff lunch today! We hope they all had a wonderful week and feel appreciated by their wildcat families and PTO. Here’s a few photos of this weeks theme!
