🏗️ Building the Future in the Foothills!
Yesterday, ValleyBuild hosted its Oakhurst Open House to share details about this impactful 8-week training program at Yosemite Adult School.
The course offers certifications like OSHA 30 and HAZWOPER, along with the hands-on and soft skills needed for careers in construction. Local employer partnerships also support job placement after graduation.

🎓 Congratulations to Our Graduates! 🎓
This morning, we celebrated the accomplishments of ValleyBuild Cohort 46 and Greater Sierra Forestry Corps Cohort 12 at Pardini’s. We are so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see where their next steps lead!
✨ Sparks were definitely flying in our welding class! Our students learned the basics and got hands-on experience. Huge thank you to our Sheet Metal instructor Isaac for leading such a great session, and an extra thank you to Brayan, one of our students who has prior welding experience—for stepping in as Isaac’s assistant. We appreciate you both! This was an amazing class. 🔥👨🏭🧰

Day 2️⃣ at the Iron Workers Union 🔥 Students got hands-on with welding, torch cutting, and climbing rebar with skill and confidence! Another great day of learning the trade and putting in the work. 💪

Cohort 46 Fresno kicked off Day 1 at the Ironworkers University Local 155 with hands-on training and learning how to safely wear a harness, walk steel beams, and handle rebar like pros. Excited to see what day two brings! 👷♀️👷♂️.
