Our AAFASA members SHOWED UP for our first-ever Monthly Mingle at CDT Cocina in the Tower District!

We started with one table… then two… then three… then four. By the end of the night, we had a table for 20 and basically took over the dining room!

It was such a great evening connecting, laughing, and building community with AAFASA members, new and old, from across campus and the district. We loved seeing everyone come together and can’t wait to do it again!

Happy Pride Month! 🌈✨

This month, we celebrate joy, visibility, belonging, and the beautiful intersectionality of our communities. Pride reminds us that every identity, every story, and every lived experience deserves to be seen, valued, and celebrated.

As the Asian American Faculty & Staff Association, we honor the LGBTQIA+ members within our communities and stand in solidarity with love, pride, and purpose. Different identities, shared community, stronger together.

It is always meaningful to be present for such a special milestone and cheer on our graduates as they walk across the stage. We are so proud of them and excited for all that is ahead. Congratulations, graduates! 🥳🤩

Behind every part of the 2026 Asian Pacific Islander Celebration of Success (APICS) is a community of AAFASA members coming together with one shared purpose: supporting our students. From planning and outreach to celebrating each graduate’s journey, this work is rooted in love, culture, and community. APICS is more than just an event. It is a reflection of what happens when we uplift one another, honor our stories, and create spaces where students feel seen, celebrated, and valued. Our students remain at the heart of it all, and it is an honor to stand beside them as they reach this incredible milestone. 🫰🏽

What a night! ✨

Our FCC Night Market was a huge success, and we are so grateful for the incredible community that showed up and showed out! A special thank you to President Whisenhunt for stopping by and supporting this celebration.

Huge shoutout to all of our guests, supporters, , vendors, collaborators, FCC faculty and staff, students, community members, and everyone in between who helped make the night so special.

The celebration is not over yet! Tonight was just a kickoff! Tomorrow is our exciting annual FCC AsianFest from 10am-4pm, and you do not want to miss out on all the food, performances, vendors, culture, and fun!
