4 weeks. Many bugs! Dozens of tiny hands creating the sweetest little snacks.
The Gourmet Kids newest theme “Bug Bites & Little Chefs has officially buzzed, fluttered, wiggled to the finish, and I couldn’t be prouder of these mini makers from Shining Star Preschool!! From ladybug bites to buzzing banana bees, their creativity absolutely bloomed!! Here’s a peek at the magic they made were every snack was brought to life.🐞🐛🦋

Last week we explored the wonderful world of pumpkins!!🎃The kids learned how pumpkins grow, tasted roasted pumpkin seeds, and made Pumpkin Mini Hand Pies!—golden, flaky, and full of cozy fall flavor!! Another fun and tasty farm-to-table adventure with our mini chefs!!👩🏼‍🍳

🍎Farm to Table cooking fun!!🍎
We had an apple-solutely amazing time learning all about apples and discovering just how many varieties there are!! 🍏From sweet to tart, every bite was a new flavor adventure. The kids also rolled up their sleeves to make Cinnamon Apple Waffles—the perfect cozy fall treat!! 🧇✨🍎

The Gourmet Kids, chopped up a variety of colorful veggies for a yummy rainbow salad bowl and turned a vanilla milkshake magically
green with a handful of spinach!! 🍀🍀🍀🍀yum!!

The Gourmet Kids have been cooking up delicious fun at Shining Star Preschool!!
Since it’s National Noodle and Nutrition month we made homemade Macaroni and Cheese which is much healthier then the box kind that is so high in sodium!
These cute little chefs also practiced using a kid friendly knife to chop up broccoli and apples to make their own Broccoli/Apple salad!!
Everything taste better when we make it ourselves!!
Can’t wait for next week when we will “Eat and Think Green” for St. Patrick’s Day!☘️ 🍀
