🇺🇸 Honoring Through Their Words: Our 7th and 8th graders helped our school community remember September 11, 2001, by sharing heartfelt reflections in front of our historic Doughboy. Avielle, Emma, Arthur, and Ardiana each took the time to prepare and share thoughtful words of remembrance, helping our school community pause, reflect, and honor those whose lives were lost.

Just last week, this same group of students put their learning, teamwork, and service into action as they helped prepare and care for the Doughboy and surrounding area in advance of this week’s 9/11 Remembrance. We are incredibly proud of the way these Terriers represented FES and helped make this important moment of remembrance so meaningful.

Thank you to our FES Teacher Team, Mr. H., Officer Lugo, and American Legion Vice Commander Tom Cooper for joining our students and supporting this important moment of remembrance. 🇺🇸 🐾

🇺🇸 Remembering September 11th, 2001. Today, our K–8 Terriers came together in front of FES for a meaningful moment of remembrance. Joined by American Legion Vice Commander Tom Cooper, our students recited the Pledge of Allegiance and observed a moment of silence to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. A special thank-you to Ardiana for kindly introducing Vice Commander Cooper and helping make this moment so meaningful for our school community. 🇺🇸🐾.

🐾 Back to School Night was a Terrier-sized success! It was wonderful to see so many FES families connecting with our team and getting the school year off to a great start. A big shout-out to our FES Teacher Team, PTO, Adriana from Go Hunterdon, and Sergeant Eccles for stopping by and helping make the evening such a great night for our FES community! 🐾

Learning beyond the classroom!🇺🇸 Our 7th & 8th grade students put their landscaping, math, and communication skills to work this week as they gave our historic Doughboy soldier & surrounding area some well-deserved TLC! 👏 Great teamwork, Terriers! We’re proud to see our students learning, serving, and taking pride in their school and community as they help prepare this special FES landmark for our 9/11 Remembrance and Centennial Celebration! 🐾
