Gita Jayanti is celebrated every year on the Shukla Ekadashi of the Margashirsha month. It marks the day the Bhagavad Gita dialogue occurred between Arjuna and Krishna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. In the US, Many Chapters of Samskrita Bharati conduct events to commemorate Gita Jayanti on different days during December.
Gita Jayanti Utsava 2025 was celebrated at Fremont Kendram on Saturday, Dec 6th. Enthusiastic participation from several volunteers with utmost dedication towards Samskrtam. The entire Kendram recited the Gita Dhyana Shlokas, followed by the Bhakti Yoga, 12th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, together.
