We can’t believe that summer is almost over! Today was our final wet Wednesday! Today’s activities included the water table, a wet sponge catch, water target toss, and retrieving small colored balls from a wading pool with only their feet in a two person team competition!💦💦💦

A GREAT BIG THANKS, to Miss Sarah from Sandusky County Parks Department for her recent visit! Her presentation was about mammals and she brought multiple animal pelts for the children to touch and feel! The children all expected the skunk pelt to smell, but we’re surprised that it was actually soft and not too stinky! Overall, the most popular animal pellets were the red fox, the gray fox, and the bobcat!

ROOM participated in BUILDING DAY today! They experimented making many different types of structures out of various types of blocks, but more importantly,… they were building friendships, turn-taking skills, confidence, self-esteem, eye-hand coordination, and more importantly than any of those,…..was their wonderful sense of IMAGINATION !
