Today the Varsity Men and Women's Cross Country team demonstrated that they are gifted athletes by running their hearts out at the first meet which was held at Point Pinole Park in Richmond. Though it is still early in the season, that only means they can improve more as a team. Let's make this a good season and go Warriors!

Hey great job today guys I was again impressed by the number of people who showed up today for time trials. Keep at it guys and for sure we will make NCS as a team both guys and girls. Below is a schedule for the rest of the week.
Wednesday: Coyote Hills (Meet at secondary parking lot) 3-5 pm
Thursday: Weight Room (Meet in the athletic training center) 3-4:45/5 pm
Friday: Quarry Lakes (Meet at parking lot right off of Isherwood) 3:15-4 pm

Hey athletes! OFFICIAL summer conditioning will start on Monday at 4 at Quarry Lakes! Please try and make it out and let people who are interested know about it! Tuesday we will meet at school at 3 in the first parking lot and will return from Chabot at 5:10. Hope to see all you athletes out there!

Tonight the Varsity Cross Country Men and Women came together for the last time this year. It was a great season and the team did well at BCL Championships, moving onto NCS as well as some runners trying to have State as a goal. Overall, this 2013-2014 season was a success not just only for the team, but the whole environment and status of cross country on FCHS campus. The team has quadrupled in size over the past two seasons and the coaching staff has doubled. As the girls team and guys team finishes their gathering tonight we remember one quote, "Once a runner, always a runner". Thank you to the coaches and athletes for making this year a groundbreaking experience for FCHS Athletics. Now onward to FCHS Varsity Track and Field.
