As we enter the end of an era as the beloved Oakland A’s wrap up their last games in the Bay Area, looking back at our Gopher memories with Stomper. Thanks for coming to Gomes and creating memories with our students!

Gomes is very grateful for people like Mr. Norm Howell! Come say hi to Mr. Norm during school drop-off and thank him for keeping our community safe! You’ll see him daily at the corner of Lemos and Chiltern.

This week we welcomed our Gomes teachers and students back onsite. Breakfast was served to the teachers to welcome them back and thank them for the work done to prepare for the students’ return. On the first day of school, students were greeted with a photo opp with our Gomes Gophers! Happy 2024-2025 school year, Gophers! 💚

Happy Lunar New Year to those who celebrate!

Lunar New Year celebration came early at Gomes. The students watched a traditional lion dance on Tuesday to celebrate and to bring in good luck for the coming year.

Yesterday was one for books! Yes, we exceeded our fundraiser goal and yes, the students had a blast! Thank you myBooster.com for this wonderful event and thank you students, parents, teachers, and staff for supporting Gomes PTA!
