WadeMor Piano Studio

WadeMor is licensed to teach Musikgarten and Piano Express group piano curriculum. I'm Brenda Woods and I am the owner and piano instructor of WadeMor Piano Studio. I love to teach piano. It all started with the prodding of a good friend who asked if I would teach her daughter. I said yes and here I am over 12+ years later (I've lost track) still teaching. I initially started teaching private lessons to all ages out of my home. In March of 2023 I was introduced to a fellow piano teacher from Texas who teaches group lessons. This intrigued me and I wanted to learn all about it. She shared everything she was taught and then it hit me. I thought to myself, "this is a great way to reach more within my community and not have to put students on a waiting list due to lack of paino teachers in this area and me having such a full schedule". So the story begins. My mind started racing about how I could do this and where. Long story short, God opened the doors for me to rent space in downtown Fremont on Main Street. I took occupancy July 1st and started renovations and was ready for students the first full week after Labor Day (right on schedule). Music has become a passion of mine as well as playing the piano. But now, being able to teach all I've learned, and with the experience I've gained over my lifetime, the passion for it has grown. By learning piano and learning to read music at a young age, I was able to play the violin and flute as well. My grandmother is the person who started teaching me to play piano when I was seven years old. I had multiple teachers growing up and have been playing ever since. I truly believe learning to play the piano and reading music sets the foundation for all other musical instruments. Some of the developmental benefits of piano lessons are:

WadeMor Piano Studio provides an environment for safe and fun learning as well as camaraderie amongst students. I have been teaching some families for many, many years. I have amazing families and students and teach all ages. I have many adult students as well as young to teenaged students. Althought the majority of my students do group lessons, up to four students in a group lesson, I also do private 30 or 45 minute lessons.
