Do you recognize this familiar face? We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Dunn back to the Nest! Mrs. Dunn will officially be taking on the role of the District's Coordinator of Behavioral Health Services this year. In this role, she will be responsible for coordinating behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health services that support students with disabilities. After working at Ellis School from 2019-2023, Mrs. Dunn earned her Clinical Social Worker license and her Experienced Educator License while working as the District School Social Worker in a nearby district. Mrs. Dunn says: "What makes this position particularly exciting to me is the opportunity to bring the clinical experience and perspective I have gained since leaving Ellis back to a school community I already know and care about. I have always appreciated the collaboration among special education, mental health, administration, teachers, and families, and I remember how much I enjoyed being part of that work at Ellis." Welcome back, Mrs. Dunn!

We have a couple more pictures to share with you from our afternoon enrichment programming! Yesterday, Mrs. Normandin's Bees, Flowers, and Pollination program learned more about bees and their role in the pollination process from a beekeeper! Mrs. Bolduc's Reader's Theater group performed Duck! Rabbit! for their friends in the Planting Power group. What a fun afternoon thanks to our special guests and enrichment educators!
