Training for Professionals

Designed for educators, counselors, administrators, school staff, and community professionals, this training will feature a lived-experience expert discussing technology-facilitated abuse, online safety trends, real-world case data, and strategies for supporting youth and families.

Growing Up Online: Free Family & Community Event
June 25 | 5:00–7:00 p.m.
ESU 2 Office, 2320 N Colorado Ave
This free event is designed for youth and the adults who support them. Participants will learn about online safety, popular apps and platforms used by youth, technology-facilitated abuse, real-world case trends, and healthy digital habits. A free meal with registration

Educational Service Unit #2 is accepting applications for a full-time Secondary Teacher to work at ESU 2 Independent School. Preference for Science, Social Studies, Math, or Special Education certification. ESU 2 Independent School is a K-12 school serving students in an alternative, specialized setting. We are located 2 miles South of Fremont, Nebraska on Highway 77. We offer a competitive wage and paid family insurance.

Responsibilities:
Provide instruction to students in grade-level groups to better support their learning needs.
Evaluate student progress and provide progress reports.
Maintain and manage the classroom environment.
Learn and implement our specific expectations, including the point card system
Provide Data and Participate in IEP meetings

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education or related subject.
State-issued teaching certification.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Yesterday, 16 teams competed at for the 2026 ESU2 Quiz Bowl. Congratulations the Quiz Bowl Champions, Wahoo Public Schools and the runners up, Wisner-Pilger Gators! 🎊

Both teams will advance to the State Quiz Bowl Meet on April 20th in Hastings! 🏆

ESU2 is hiring a substitute teacher to work at the Independent Program located at 1102 County Rd W in Fremont, NE. 📢

Experience in education is preferred, but could be a para or certified teacher. 🧑‍🏫

The schedule is 8am-2pm, April 13th-May 19th, Monday through Friday.

Pay is based on experience. 💵
