Let’s roll!

The class competition is on! Starting next week, teachers will tally how students get to school. This fun county-wide classroom challenge encourages students to walk, bike, roll, carpool, or use public transportation. The class with the highest percentage of students that participate will win the GOLDEN SNEAKER! In addition, one lower grade class and one upper grade class that has the most participants will win their class golden shoelaces.

In just two weeks, Maloney will be hosting a new event...Spaghetti Bingo Night! Pay for the spaghetti and play bingo for free. Exciting prizes are available. Enjoy the evening socializing with other Maloney families while having fun. Dinner includes spaghetti, salad, bread, and a drink.

Maloney Families, we are excited to bring a new event to our community! It's Spaghetti Bingo Night. Flyers will be sent home on Thursday to preorder your tickets. There will be a limited amount of tickets sold, so don't miss out. You pay for the dinner, and the bingo and prizes are free. Each grade level will donate themed items for Bingo prizes, and we're asking families to help. Please check your student's grade level and send your donation to their teacher by Friday, January 9. And, if you're willing to volunteer, please see the list of tasks and shoot me an email.

Pickup your students and grab something to eat at McDonalds! Maloney staff members will be working at McDonalds taking your orders and serving you on Tuesday, December 9th from 2:30-6:30. Don't miss out! Share this post with the community because 100% of the proceeds will go toward Maloney!

See you tomorrow morning as we celebrate Ruby Bridges, and the power all children have to be a change maker in their world.

Join us at the Lakeview apartments at 7:30 to honor Ruby Bridges, the first Black child to integrate an all-white school in Louisiana. It is a national movement to end racism and all forms of bullying one step at a time.
