Washington Elementary School Welcome to Washington School! We believe all students can achieve success in learning and becoming good citizens. Students learn to F.I.S.H.

At Washington, we implement a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support System (PBIS) to establish and maintain a safe and effective school environment that maximizes academic achievement and behavioral competence of all students. at Washington School; Follow Directions, I am Responsible, Safety First, and Have Respect. We believe that all students are able to learn at high levels of achievement. Washington School offers many extended learning opportunities aimed at reading this goal.

Positive Office Referrals from this week!

❤️ Sofia saw something happening and reported it to an adult right away! Thank you Sofia for standing up for another student!

❤️ Linda noticed a student coming out late to recess and the student was sad. She immediately ran over to the student, gave them a hug, and invited them to play! Thank you for being a kind friend, Linda!

❤️ This morning Yanalis saw that another student was having a hard time coming into the school building. She gave the student a hug, told them it would be okay, and encouraged them to come inside. Yanalis, thank you for being so kind and welcoming!

Our lobos are safe, respectful, and responsible!

Our first positive office referrals of the year!

❤️ Reagan saw a friend in the morning who was sad and went out of her way to invite this student into line and walked with them to class. Thank you for being so caring, Reagan!

🐺 Damian was super helpful on a morning where it was raining a bunch. He held the door for students so they could get inside and out of the rain. You're a great leader, Damian!
