Thank you to Edna from Artesan Bread for visiting our Multilingual Learners Summer School and teaching us about having a bakery! We enjoyed playing with the dough and then eating yummy bread!

Today we had our final school community celebration! We recognized positive behavior, amazing academic and language growth, outstanding musicians, proficiency on the ELPA21 assessment, and congratulated our 4th graders who are wrapping up their time at Washington! We were also able to give out two Friends of Washington awards to people and organizations who go above and beyond to support us! It was a great morning! This year we recognized Fremont First United Methodist Church and Lt. Ed Watts from Fremont Police. Thank you for your time and dedication to our students and staff! To wrap things up, Wolfie our mascot made a visit!

2nd Grade has been learning about what an animal needs in their habitat to survive. Students researched an animal of their choice and then created a habitat designed to support that animal’s survival. Excellent work, lobos! ❤️🐺🐆🐊🐋
