🍰🎃 Join the Fun: Halloween Carnival Cake Walk! 🎃🍰
The Cake Walk is back by popular demand! It was a massive hit last year, and we need your help to make it just as sweet this time around.
We are aiming for 25 donated baked goods so we can run 25 full rounds of sweet fun during the carnival!
🧁 How You Can Help
• What to donate: Whole cakes, batches of cupcakes, frosted brownie trays, pie tins, or cookie platters (store-bought or homemade are both welcome!).
• Allergen Notice: Please clearly label all items with major allergens (e.g., contains nuts, gluten-free, dairy-free).
• Drop-off Window: Drop-offs start Thursday, Oct 22. All items must be delivered to the MUR by Saturday, Oct 24 at 12:00 PM (noon) so our team can organize the prize tables before doors open.
🎶 How the Cake Walk Works
1. Take a spot: Line up and claim a numbered spot on the blacktop circle.
2. Walk the circle: When the music starts, walk from number to number with the crowd.
3. Freeze: When the music stops, immediately freeze on your nearest number!
4. Draw the winning number: Our DJ pulls a lucky number from the bucket.
5. Win a treat: If your number is called, grab your winning ticket and pick up your delicious treat in the MUR! (Note: All winning tickets must be redeemed before the carnival closes.)
6. Clear the circle: Step off so the next group gets their chance to win!

🏒💚What an AMAZING field trip for our 5th Grade Bulldogs! 🐾

Our fifth graders had the opportunity to cheer on the San Jose Barracudas today, and what a fun and unique experience for our students! 🎉🏒

A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful 5th grade team, especially Ms. Schinkel, for organizing such a memorable field trip! 💚

And an extra special thank you to all of our parent chaperones and drivers who helped make today possible! 👏 In grades 3–5, we rely heavily on parent drivers to make many of our field trips happen. With the new volunteer requirements, that means these amazing parents took the time to complete their fingerprinting, TB clearance, and mandated reporter training so they could drive and chaperone our students.

That takes extra time and effort, and we are so grateful! Because of our teachers and parent volunteers, our Bulldogs were able to enjoy an experience they’ll remember for years to come. 💚🐾

Halloween or STEAM let your creativity shine! 👻🔬🤖

Students can paint, carve, sculpt, decorate, or create their own unique pumpkin!

🏆 Pumpkins will be judged on creativity, originality & WOW factor!

Participation is completely voluntary. Please see the flyer for all rules and details. We can’t wait to see what our Bulldogs create! 🎃🐾🧡
