🐾 WAY TO GO, BULLDOGS! 🐾

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out this past Friday to support our 5th Grade Science Camp Fundraiser at Nature’s Ice Cream! 🍦💚

Thanks to our amazing Bulldog community, we raised an incredible $1,058! 🎉 Every dollar will go toward helping our 5th graders get to Science Camp and making this special experience more affordable for our families.

We also want to give a BIG shout-out and THANK YOU to Nature's Organic Ice Cream for hosting this fundraiser for us! ❤️ We love that we were able to support our 5th graders while also supporting a local small business in our community. Win-win! 🙌

🐾 HEY BULLDOGS! IT’S ALMOST PICNIC TIME! 🐾

Just a reminder that our Welcome Back Picnic is THIS FRIDAY from 5:00–8:00 PM! 🎉

We can’t wait to bring our Bulldog community together for a fun evening with family and friends!

🎶 DJ Frosty bringing the FUN and keeping the party going!
⚜️ Scout tables with information for interested families
👆 Live Scan fingerprinting available for those who need or are interested in completing their FUSD volunteer fingerprinting

📣 FUSD FAMILIES! GET CLEARED TO VOLUNTEER! 🐾💚

With the new volunteer requirements, one of the biggest impacts at Niles will be field trips for our 3rd–5th graders.These grades rely heavily on parent drivers because of the high cost of bus rentals. 🚗

If you have a student in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade and may be able to drive students on field trips, we would greatly appreciate you considering getting fingerprinted through FUSD!

📅 Friday, August 21 | 5–8 PM
📍 Niles Elementary MUR
💵 $74 per person ($94 if you go into his office on your own time)
💚 Open to ALL FUSD families

⭐ Already fingerprinted through FUSD? You do NOT need to do it again! Fingerprinting completed for another district or organization unfortunately does not transfer.

Once fingerprinted, save your Live Scan form because you’ll need to upload it with your CivicCore application each year. If you were fingerprinted through FUSD years ago and no longer have your form, simply list the year on your application and the district can verify your clearance.

We understand this is an additional cost and may not be possible for every family. For those who are able, we wanted to make it as convenient as possible by bringing the Live Scan technician directly to our Welcome Back Picnic! 💚🐾

The more cleared drivers we have, the more opportunities we can help make possible for our Bulldogs! 🚗🐾

We’re excited to kick off another year of Safety Patrol and are looking for enthusiastic 4th & 5th grade students and supportive parents to join the team!

Safety Patrol is a great opportunity for students to build responsibility, leadership skills, and school spirit while helping keep our Bulldogs safe during drop-off and pick-up.

Students can volunteer for 1–2 shifts per week and request morning or afternoon shifts. Parents are an important part of making the program successful too!

Interested in joining? Please complete the sign-up form by Thursday, August 27th.

🐾 Hey, Bulldogs! 🐾

We hope everyone is having a great first weekend after our first full week of school! Hopefully everyone has had a chance to rest, recharge, and get ready for another great week. 💚

Speaking of recharging… how about a sweet, icy treat after school? 🍧

Our 5th graders have another fundraiser coming up this week! Yes, we know we just had one on Friday 😂, but we are working hard to help our 5th graders reach their fundraising goal for Science Camp and bring down the cost for ALL of our 5th-grade families.
