Exploring Career Pathways

Through a series of guest speaker sessions, our students have had the opportunity to engage with professionals from diverse industries, learning not only about various career paths but also about the experiences, challenges, and lessons that have shaped each speaker’s journey. These conversations provide valuable perspectives on professional growth, lifelong learning, and the importance of pursuing meaningful work.

We are deeply grateful to all of our guest speakers who have generously invested their time, expertise, and mentorship in our students. Their willingness to share their stories helps students move beyond job titles and gain a deeper understanding of what success looks like across different fields and life experiences.

These firsthand conversations empower students to discover their passions, make informed educational choices, and find inspiration as they navigate their own unique journeys. We look forward to continuing these opportunities and welcoming more professionals to engage with and mentor our students.

Eid al-Adha reminds us of the profound sacrifice, sincerity, and devotion rooted in the story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It is a time to reflect on his legacy of unwavering faith and his vision for the future:

”Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them.”
-Surah Al-Baqarah (The Du’a of Ibrahim (AS) for future generations)

May this blessed Eid inspire us to renew our intentions, elevate our minds, and purify our hearts.

Eid Mubarak from all of us at Averroes.

Standing Together in Faith & Community

As we enter this Jumu’ah during the sacred days of Dhul Hijjah, we extend our deepest condolences to the victims of the San Diego shooting, their loved ones, and all those impacted by this tragedy.

May Allah surround them with His mercy, grant the injured deep healing, ease the pain of grieving families, and bring peace and strength to an entire community shaken by loss.

And may Allah guide us all to live with urgency, generosity, and compassion, using the blessings He has entrusted to us to uplift others before the Day when only our deeds will remain, as reflected in our student’s recitation from Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 254.

Jumu’ah Mubarak from all of us at Averroes.

As this Jumu’ah passes, the reminder remains: the Qur’an was revealed not only to be recited, but to be lived … through character, compassion, integrity, and sincere action. Learning the Qur’an is a lifelong journey of understanding its guidance and striving to embody its message.

May Allah make us among the people of the Qur’an - those who learn it, reflect upon it, and live by its teachings.

Jumu’ah Mubarak from all of us at Averroes.

Kicking Off the AHS Culminating Session

A celebration of student voice, creativity, and purpose-driven learning, our Culminating Session reflects how our year-end experience serves as a launchpad for student learning, confidence, and growth.

Through our Project-Based Learning (PBL) model, students engage in hands-on, meaningful experiences that connect learning to the real world and encourage them to think critically, collaborate, and present with purpose.

A Timeless Reminder

Surah Al-Fatiha is more than a recitation we repeat daily... it is a conversation with Allah. It teaches us gratitude, worship, dependence, and the constant need for guidance:

“Guide us to the straight path.”

May every Jumu’ah reconnect our hearts to the meanings we recite so often, and may Allah keep us firm upon His path.

Jum’uah Mubarak from all of us at Averroes.
