Over the past weeks, these girls have been learning new sewing skills, getting creative, choosing their own fabrics, & turning those ideas into projects they can actually use and enjoy. From figuring out the machine to working through the little “oops!” moments along the way!! I just love having them in the studio! 💙

That's a wrap on another summer of sewing! ☀️🧵

I couldn't have asked for a better way to finish the season. During my week with Addy and Sabrina, we made colorful scrunchies, popsicle cozies, the sweetest little fox purses, and shared so many laughs along the way. 💙

Thank you to every family who trusted me to be a small part of your child's summer. Watching each student learn new skills, gain confidence, and light up with pride after finishing a project is why I love what I do. I can't wait to sew with you again soon! 🪡

Week 1 of Summer Camp is officially in the books & WOW... we had so much fun! ☀️🧵

These amazing campers stitched, created, laughed & made new friends all week long!

The best part? Watching their confidence grow with every project they completed. By the end of the week, they were so proud of what they had made & couldn't wait to show it off (enjoy their fashion show)! ✨

Kids Summer Sewing Camp at Susie Spools! ☀️

Looking for a fun, creative summer activity? Join us for our 4-day Kids Sewing Camp designed for children ages 8 & up!

Each camp introduces kids to the basics of sewing in a fun, encouraging environment. Starting with the fundamentals, campers will create several beginner-friendly projects they can be proud of, including:

- Popsicle pouches
- Button hair bows
- Pillowcase
& more fun!

Dates:
• July 20–23
• July 27–30

Time: Monday–Thursday, 12:30–3:30 PM
Location: Susie Spools, 311 Garrison Street, Fremont, OH
Cost: $125 per week

From "I've never touched a sewing machine" to "I made this myself!" ✨

What an incredible 3-week journey! 🪡 Over the past 3 weeks, these ladies learned the basics of sewing, built their confidence, and wrapped up the class by creating their very own handmade pillows.

Thank you for joining us, asking questions, cheering each other on, and making this class so special. We're so proud of everything they accomplished! 💙

Last Wednesday, we kicked off the first class in our 3-part sewing series! 🧵

In this beginner-friendly class, students learned all the sewing essentials - from common sewing terms & machine basics to threading the machine, winding a bobbin & more. But the fun didn't stop there! Everyone completed their very first project: a beautiful lavender sachet to take home. 🩵

Today is Class #2, where they'll be putting their new skills to work & starting their very own pillow cover!

Everyone say hi to Sienna! 👋 A junior at Fremont Ross who has been such a joy to have in the studio!

In the past month, she’s finished two beautiful pieces - a quilt and a duffel bag, and I couldn’t be more impressed! 🤩 From watching her thoughtfully pick her own fabrics to bringing her ideas to life, Sienna’s creativity has been so fun to witness.

Moments like this are exactly why I love teaching. Watching Sienna bring her own personality into her work and seeing how proud she is of what she’s made is so special. Way to go, Sienna!! 🩵
