Fremont Packers Girls Basketball

We are excited to announce that based on a high number of sign-ups, we will have a girls freshmen basketball team this winter. Matthew Zerfas, who has been an assistant coach in our program, will be the 9th grade coach. Coach Matthew Zerfas graduated from Fremont High School in 2017 where he was a 3-sport athlete, 3-time 1st Team All-state athlete and the Riley Klingel recipient as the schools top athlete. We are excited for Coach Zerfas and for having a freshmen team giving more young athletes the chance to participate in sports.

A long but fun day of basketball. After youth basketball camp in the morning our Varsity girls loaded up in the RV and headed to Calvin College for 8pm and 9pm games. We played two big class A teams winning one and losing the other. Our girls just play hard...so fun to watch and see the potential.

It was a great start today for our 3-day girls youth basketball camp. Lots of girls working on ball handling and shooting and our older girls did a great job coaching and mentoring.
