Hello!
My name is Yasmine Farah and I am a rising senior at Irvington High School. Over the past year and half of distance learning, myself along with many other FUSD students have come to realize that the education system in Fremont can be complicated, challenging, and at times, confusing. Finding the right tutor or mentor who understands the Fremont system and knows exactly how to help your child may seem daunting for a busy parent. That's why my business partner, Kiely Wu, and I decided to start our very own tutoring company: Star Students Tutoring, Enrichment, and Mentoring (or SSTEM for short). SSTEM is a Bay Area based tutoring company founded by Bay Area students, for bay area students, under the mentorship of Stanford and Yale alumni. Over the past few months, our tutors have helped students develop healthy study habits, understand concepts, and navigate distance learning. SSTEM offers a variety of tutors in many different subjects available to students in 1st through 10th grade. SSTEM also offers AP tutors and help with SAT prep.
