After 6 years of studying piano with me, Alan will be heading off to college tomorrow 🥲. Before doing so, he was so determined to finish learning this arrangement of Joe Hisaishi's "Merry-Go-Round of Life" from Howl's Moving Castle that he researched, fixed, and tuned a piano key himself when it broke last week!

So proud of you, Alan! Enjoy college and beyond! I know you will do well!

🎉First in-person recital in 2+ years just happened yesterday! 🎉 Students were troopers! Over half was their first time performing live and everyone did so well. I couldn’t have been happier! Proud teacher here relishing in their success!

Samantha’s been taking our in-person group class for one month. Here she is playing ”Alouette” from the Faber Lesson Primer book. This week, she just started reading notes on the staff. Great job, Samantha!

It is exam season! Here’s Tarini playing one of her four exam pieces, Debussy’s ”Girl with the Flaxen Hair.” She is all ready for her Level 9 exams!
