🇹🇭 Thai Word of the Day 🇹🇭

😋 อร่อยจัง (aròi jang) = So delicious!

Just had an amazing meal? Try saying:

อร่อยจัง! (à-ròi jang)

Thai people often add จัง (jang) to make an expression stronger.

😊 ดีจัง
(dee jang)
= So nice!

🥰 น่ารักจัง
(nâa-rák jang)
= So cute!

maa tam ngaan têe pûuak rao rák gan tùh

💡 Vocabulary:

* มา (maa) = come / let’s
* ทำงาน (tam ngaan) = work
* ที่ (têe) = that
* พวกเรา (pûuak rao) = we / us
* รัก (rák) = love ❤️
* กันเถอะ (gan tùh) = let’s … together

POV: My students are trying to cheer me up in Thai

ครูแอนสู้ ๆ ครูแอนสู้ตาย
(Kruu Ann sôo sôo, Kruu Ann sôo dtaai)

ครูแอนไว้ลาย สู้ตายสู้ ๆ
(Kruu Ann wái laai, sôo dtaai sôo sôo)

Meaning: “Go Kruu Ann, keep fighting! Don’t give up!”

You can change “ครูแอน” (Kruu Ann) to any name you want to cheer up!

Thai people love saying “สู้ ๆ” (sôo sôo) to encourage each other
