🌸 Meet Mrs. Heather Klemp
Joining Mr. Klemp at Prince of Peace this summer is his wife, Mrs. Heather Klemp. We are so glad to welcome her to our community.
A passionate educator with 19 years of classroom experience, Mrs. Klemp holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Biblical Literacy and was named Educator of the Year in 2018 for the entire California-Nevada-Hawaii district. She loves connecting families together and brings a deep heart for Lutheran education. In her own words:
"Lutheran schools are a special place because grace and forgiveness are offered freely every day."
Welcome to the POP family, Mrs. Klemp! đź’™

🌿 Welcome, Mr. Kyle Klemp!
We are overjoyed to welcome the next Principal of Prince of Peace Christian School. Mr. Klemp joins us this summer from Trinity Lutheran in Hawaii, bringing 26 years of Lutheran education experience and 7 years as a principal — along with his wife Heather and their three college-bound kids.
A lifelong Lutheran from Wisconsin, Mr. Klemp is known for leading with heart, humor, and high expectations. The verse that anchors his ministry says it well:
"In humility value others above yourselves." — Philippians 2:3
His first day in the office is July 6. Peter Berg will continue alongside him through the fall to ensure a strong, supported transition for our students, families, and staff.
Welcome to the POP family, Klemps! đź’™

This morning, Prince of Peace gathered outdoors for our All Nations Worship & Feast - singing, praying, receiving the Lord’s Supper, and breaking bread together in multiple languages as one family under the Risen Christ.
And if that isn’t enough reason to celebrate, we had the profound joy of witnessing four of our Chinese brothers and sisters baptized into the family of God.
Four lives committed to Christ and saved by grace today!!
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is not for one culture or one language. It is for ALL nations.
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” - 1 Corinthians 15:58
He is Risen for ALL nations. 🙌

We gathered as Sisters in Christ this weekend. We prayed, worshipped, shared, listened, danced, played! A beautiful way to honor sisterhood, from ages 30-70+!
Thank you to our speaker Christina Hergenrader, worship leader Cara Berg, the Women’s Retreat Team and activity leaders, and the men who served us!

Today we rejoice in the beautiful gift of baptism! 💧✨
With grateful hearts, we celebrated multiple baptisms—each one a powerful reminder of God’s grace freely given. In these waters, God claims His children, washes them clean, and marks them with His promise forever.
What a joy to witness lives embraced by such deep and abiding love. This is not our doing, but God’s—rich in mercy, full of promise, and overflowing with grace.
We celebrate each precious life baptized today and the faithfulness of a God who never lets us go. Welcome to the family of faith—you belong to Christ, now and always. 🙌
