The Luther Library is proud to celebrate first-gen college students during Midland University’s week long celebration! 🥳

Midland University defines first generation college students as students who are the first in their immediate family to earn a four year degree. The Luther Library aims to give some insight on how these amazing individuals can shape the world by sharing some inspiration stories.

Stop by the library to learn more about these awesome individuals and get a free book too! One of our displays features First Gen by Alejandra Campoverdi, a spectacular memoir about her experiences as a first generation student and how it has shaped her life and career.

Like our students, these first gen are Warriors!

The Luther Library is partnering with BlankSpace to promote a wonderful contest. All students are encouraged to participate in our Bookmark Design Contest, where the winning design will become an official bookmark featured in the Luther Library!

All students are encouraged to submit their themed designs. Please check out the application form for more information by scanning the QR Code. Good luck everyone! I look forward to seeing all of your fabulous bookmarks!
