Linden Elementary Multilingual Learners

First graders practiced writing words after stretching out the sounds on play dough! ✍️

It’s pumpkin season! Students learned all about the pumpkin life cycle and then got hands-on—opening one up to explore the seeds, pulp, and all the gooey fun inside!

🍂✏️ Our students have been exploring the sights, sounds, and smells of autumn through fall sensory poems! Using descriptive language and vivid imagery, they captured everything from crisp leaves to cozy bonfires. 🍁 It’s wonderful to see their creativity come alive as they use their five senses to paint a picture of the season with words! 🧡

Yesterday we were visited by The Fremont Police Department! We learned about the jobs that officers have and saw a police car. We appreciate your visit and service to our community!

This summer students are learning vocabulary about places in our community. We received hands on experience last week with our visit to the FREMONT FAMILY YMCA. Thank you Cathy and Miranda for having us!!

These students in Mrs. Sindelar and Mrs. Reilly’s class read stories and wrote about what it would be like to live in a snow globe. They even received their own snow globe to keep thanks to a grant from First Book! ❄️
