📸🎈 Pure Joy in a Balloon 🎈📸This is Gabriel — our 12-year-old sunshine, nonverbal and autistic, showing us once again that happiness can be found in the simplest things.Balloons are his favorite. The colors, the floating, the gentle bounce — it calms him, excites him, and gives him so much joy. Watching him play is a reminder to slow down and appreciate the little moments that truly matter.💙 Gabriel may not speak with words, but this smile says everything.

Today, Gabriel is learning about kindness and unkindness.We are teaching him that kindness means helping, sharing, and using words that make people feel good — and unkindness is when actions or words hurt others.Every small step Gabriel takes in understanding emotions and relationships is a big victory.Autism is not a limitation — it’s a different way of learning and seeing the world, filled with unique strengths and beautiful progress.We are so proud of Gabriel and his journey!

Learning body parts with Gabriel! Today we practiced identifying eyes, nose, mouth, ears, hands, and more using visuals and fun activities. He did an amazing job pointing to each one! Proud of you, Gabriel!
