Looking forward to playing in this concert!

Happy Anniversary to Brazosport Symphony Orchestra. Our 2022-2023 season marks our 40th anniversary!

Our first concert features Texas Country Reporter's 50th anniversary celebration concert, "A Texas Tribute: presented by Capital Farm Credit," featuring TCR hosts Bob and Kelli Phillips, Texas/Western-themed music and stories, and a special musical score by David Lovrien. The Concert is Saturday, October 1, 7:30 pm at The Clarion.

If you are a season ticket holder, you will pay $30 to attend this concert, and tickets are on sale September 1 at https://bcfas.org/brazosport-symphony/

Tickets for the general public go on sale soon, and will be $50 per person.

This concert will be worth full price, but you can get your substantial discount when you purchase your season tickets. What are you waiting for???

My first ever solo recital is about to start!

I'm gearing up for Saturday's recital, 2pm at First Presbyterian Church on 1402 W. Broad St. here in Freeport! Cake will be provided afterwards! This recital is in celebration of my violin's 100th birthday. I'll be playing Das Spinnrad, Come Thou Long Expected Jesus, The Devil Among the Tailors, Meditation from Thais, Die Biene, and Seitz Concerto No. 2 in G Major. Hope to see everyone there!

As of yesterday, B&H Music and I have parted ways. For those students who would like to continue with me as their instructor, I will be teaching out of my home at 903 W. 11th St., Freeport, TX, 77541. I believe the store will be hiring a new violin instructor if you would like to continue lessons at the same location.

Thanks to all the students and teachers who came to the HASSA Beach Party and Play-in on Saturday! We all had a great time. Don't forget, this Wednesday at 6pm is the group lesson. We'll be working on our Christmas piece, and learning a dance for the October group lesson at the Brazos Mall.

It's time for this month's group lesson! We're back at our normal location , B&H Music, at 6pm. The scales for this month will be C, G, D, A, E, and B major, and we'll pick out a group piece for the next recital in December.

Tonight's group lesson will be at First Presbyterian Church in Freeport, 1402 W. Broad St. We'll be working on our C, G, D, A, and E major scales, and introducing B major. We will also work on adding dynamics to our pieces, and rehearse for the recital on Sunday.
