Empire Elementary School There are currently 269 wonderful students enrolled at Empire along with a dedicated team of 48 certified and classified staff members.

Together with the Empire community of parents, grandparents, volunteers, business partners and staff members, we hold high expectations for our students and staff. While teaching to the Illinois State Standards, our teachers incorporate a variety of instructional strategies to reach each student's learning potential. In this educational setting, instruction is conducted in guided reading groups, l

eveled math groups and in whole group. We believe quality education can be achieved through high expectations of student performance and behavior; strong family/school/community partnerships; and a dedicated enthusiastic staff committed to providing the best education possible for the students at Empire Elementary. Empire Elementary is a community of caring people who have created a safe and nurturing environment where students feel included, respected and valued. Empire Eagles earning Eagles!! For each class with 100% of students at school, we earn an Eagle. When we get 30 Eagles, we will have a schoolwide Pajama Party! So far, we have 11 Eagles!
