Do you have a passion for supporting young children and families? Our Family Enrichment Program is looking for a caring, motivated, and relationship-focused Parent Educator to join our team!

As a Parent Educator, you’ll work directly with families throughout Stephenson and Jo Daviess Counties, supporting parents and children from pregnancy through age 3. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping families build strong foundations for their children’s growth and development. ❤️

👶 What You’ll Do:
• Provide home-based support to families with young children
• Partner with parents to support healthy child development and positive parent-child interactions
• Conduct developmental screenings and family assessments
• Connect families with community resources and services
• Help families establish and reach individualized goals
• Lead parent-child groups and activities
• Build partnerships with schools, community organizations, and other providers

💼 Position Details:
• Full-time | 12-month position
• 35 hours per week
• $19.00–$22.00/hour
• Travel throughout Stephenson & Jo Daviess Counties
• Employer-paid individual health, dental & vision insurance
• IMRF retirement
• Paid sick leave, vacation & holidays
• Flexible benefit plan
• Grant-funded position contingent upon continued state funding

🎓 Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or a Human Services field is preferred. A minimum of a high school diploma and two years of supervised experience working with young children and/or parents is required.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, self-motivated, and able to build trusting relationships with families from diverse backgrounds.

Regional Office of Education #8 is looking for a full-time Regional Safe School Teacher to join our Regional Safe School Program in Freeport, IL!

This position is a great opportunity for an educator who enjoys building positive relationships with students and creating an individualized, supportive learning environment. The teacher will work closely with the Program Coordinator to support students in grades 6–12 through online coursework, individualized academic plans, hands-on learning, and academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support.

📚 Position Details:
• Full-time, 1.0 FTE
• 185-day position
• 180 school calendar days + 5 non-school days
• $43,543/year, including fully paid TRS
• Medical, dental, vision & life insurance available

• In-person position in Freeport, IL

🎓 Minimum Qualification:
State of Illinois license endorsed for secondary teaching, or the ability to obtain appropriate licensure.

✔️ A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or a health-related field, or is a Registered Nurse
