Thank you Freeport State Bank for an amazing Golf Classic event! SHS showed up and with some help from the girls golf team we finished 3 under - haha! We sure had fun!!

SHS is hiring part time individuals to work in our before and after school program. Hours will be from 7:00-8:00 am and 3:00-5:30 pm Monday- Friday and also when there is no school. Interested applicants must be 16 years of age and must be able to help with homework and have a genuine interest in caring for children. Applicants can fill out an application at SHS school. This position is open until filled.

Field trips are such a great way for our students to learn and grow outside of the classroom. We are very thankful to Freeport State Bank for the wonderful annual field trip, this year we went to the Skatin' Place and A maze'n Farmyard.

The kindergarten students also got to experience Pung’s farm, 4th grade went to their watershed event and our 6th graders helped out in Melrose packing food for the Food For Thought program.

We are grateful for all of these opportunities for our students! Also, another big thank you to Famo Feeds, Inc. for donating busing all year long to our fun adventures!
