🚒🔥 Stop, Drop, and Learn! 🔥🚒

Today, our students had a special visit from our local firefighters to learn all about fire safety! 🧑‍🚒❤️

The students got to practice safely escaping from a smoke house that simulates smoky conditions, helping them learn how to get out of a house safely in an emergency. We also got an up-close look at the fire trucks! 🚒

A HUGE thank-you to our firefighters for taking the time to teach our students these important, potentially life-saving skills! We are so grateful for all you do to keep our community safe! ❤️🔥

Learning today, staying safe tomorrow! 🧯🐾

Our HALLWAYS are looking a WHOLE lot BRIGHTER thanks to the INCREDIBLE PROJECTS our students have been working on in ART CLASS with MRS. HARTOG at Open Bible. From mastering the basics of color mixing to diving into unique textures, Mrs. Hartog has brought so much inspiration to our school days!❤️🦁

The students have had an ABSOLUTE BLAST stepping away from their desks, rolling up their sleeves, and bringing their IMAGINATIONS to LIFE. We are so PROUD of the focus, creativity, and hard work every single student has put into their masterpieces.👏

Take a look at some of their beautiful artwork below! 👇 Which project is your favorite?

🎃 🎃🎃 PUMPKIN POWER 🎃🎃🎃

Today, Ms. Debbie and her assistant Ms. Alyssa from Stephenson County Ag in the Classroom came for her October monthly presentation. She took our entire student crew from Preschool through 6th grade on a deep dive into everything pumpkins for our October agriculture day!

From learning about the gooey insides to the engineering behind how these massive orange pumpkins grow, every class had a smash-hit time! 🍁✨ There is nothing better than seeing our students connect with creation and learn exactly how local farmers grow the food on our tables.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Stephenson County Ag in the Classroom for bringing this amazing program to Open Bible! Swipe through to see our wonderful students digging into the pumpkin patch fun! 📸👇
