Our Health Science Theory students are already getting hands-on and putting their skills to work! Today, students practiced taking blood pressure and other vital signs while learning the importance of accuracy, communication, and patient care!

The Anchor Dads program is an amazing way for community volunteers to be involved in the most important part of our program - impacting the lives of our young people. Mentors. Role models.

We had the chance to talk about it a little at the community breakfast a couple of weeks ago .. and we’re ready to start getting volunteers signed up!

Email Coach Davis ([email protected]) or Coach Johnson ([email protected]) and sign up as a volunteer at the QR code on the graphic to get started. We will schedule an orientation asap so we can get you connected with these young men as soon as possible.

Our HOSA officers had a great time representing Brazosport HOSA at Fish Camp today and welcoming the Class of 2030!

We loved meeting so many incoming freshmen, sharing what HOSA is all about, and getting them excited to join our Health Science family. We can't wait to see our program continue to grow this year and welcome the next generation of future healthcare professionals! Here's to an amazing school year!

What an incredible day with our 40 campers! 🩺❤️
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make today such a success! Our campers had an amazing time learning about CPR, anatomy, PPE, hand hygiene, and what it's like to work in healthcare through fun, hands-on activities.
A very special thank you to Freeport Fire & EMS for taking the time to bring out their ambulance and teach our students about emergency situations. The kids loved getting to explore the ambulance, ask questions, and learn firsthand how first responders help keep our community safe. Your time, dedication, and willingness to inspire the next generation are truly appreciated!
Seeing so many young students excited about healthcare made today incredibly rewarding. We can't wait to do it again!

Alvin College has received approval to move forward with its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program, creating an affordable, flexible pathway for registered nurses to advance their education while helping meet the growing demand for BSN-prepared nurses in our region!

This milestone marks another exciting step in expanding educational opportunities and strengthening the healthcare workforce.
